The smell is weirdly fantastic and I mean that literally. It's a unique blend. I'm on my second bar and it still strikes me as interesting.
The lather is superb, and makes my skin+hair feel great as I expect from this brand.
The pungency of the absinthe is invigorating. Sweet opium and cherry blossom balance out the herbal hit. After a couple of hours, the opium comes to the fore with the cherry blossom still trailing softly behind. Lasts all day like all the soaps, but isn't overpowering.
